The seating expansion at Maria Corona Restaurant, originally founded in 1917, was a necessary renovation in order to meet the growing demand at this popular Cabo San Lucas dining establishment. The once-small and quaint open air patio has become a roomier expanse of green landscape, lanterns and romantic evening lit torches. For anyone arriving in rental cars, valet parking, has also been added to their already very great and friendly service. A newly installed stage has only improved their already entertaining dinner shows and live music. The most beloved dish at Maria Corona is the Poblano Chicken Mole’, that everyone raves about. They also offer a delectable serving of pork carnitas, light and fresh ceviche, shrimp tacos, tortilla soup, grilled shrimp, and carne asada. The combination plate includes chicken mole, chile relleno, and chorizo.

Other authentic traditional Mexican plates on the menu begin with chips and salsa and tasty appetizers such as the delicious rich and creamy cheese dip Fondue that is prepared fresh; table side and accompanied with fresh corn tortillas. The tasty avocado guacamole is also created by their talented waiters table side. The chef’s combination order comes with a tamale, enchilada, beans, rice, and a ground beef dish with mixed vegetables. For dessert, Maria Corona serves vanilla ice cream, Churros and Mexican coffee that makes for a spectacular show during its flame-filled preparation. Cocktails not to miss are the cactus and Mezcal  margaritas. They also snap memento photograph’s at Maria Corona that are ready for purchase at a mere $10 USD as patrons make their way towards the exit.
