Drift Hotel San Jose

Right in the middle of downtown, in the area that was recently baptized as District 23400 for its postal code, a 29-room Drift hotel has opened. The hotel, located on Miguel Hidalgo street features the poolside Mezcal Bar at Drift San Jose. Thursday evenings there’s a taco truck in the courtyard and live music, which will be open to locals and hotel guests. A rooftop terrace has views over the city streets.

Hotel details: In a whitewashed building in the historic city center, this hip hotel lined with palm trees is 2 minutes’ walk from the Gallery District, 1 km from Highway 1, and 2 km from the closest
beach.

Minimalist rooms with industrial accents come with Wi-Fi access and courtyard views; some include hammocks. There are no TVs.

A rustic-chic mezcal bar is set in a courtyard next to an outdoor pool. Other amenities include regular live music and a weekly food cart.
