One of Cabo’s most recognized, world famous restaurants, The Office on the Beach, was originally founded in the early to mid-1970’s when the Southern Baja Peninsula was a remote and isolated place; in which very few visitors arrived at this popular fishing region. At the time, The Office was a mere little palapa on Medano Beach, that featured a small kitchen and unpretentious bar. The basic menu consisted of such simple items as ceviche, fried fish, burritos and hamburgers.

Patrons typically ordered margaritas, cuba libres (Bacardi and Coke), beers, water and coffee to accompany their food. Since then, The Office has become a restaurant of the stars, in which such Hollywood elite as George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Aniston, and Courtney Cox have been spotted enjoying their dinner over the years. Popular for its amazing view of San Lucas Bay and the Land’s End Arch, The Office, remains an always packed Cabo landmark. Some of their more delicious menu items are the fresh fish, coconut shrimp, fried calamari, garlic butter lobster tails, fajitas, Tuna Tiradito of thinly sliced super fresh tuna tuna with soy sauce, jalapeno, garlic, red onion, and lemon juice. Other recommended plates include the incredible table side Caesar salad, tortilla soup, butterfly shrimp, fish tacos, chile rellenos (stuffed with onion, cheese, garlic and peppers) and seafood scampi.

Guests can choose their seating inside or out on the sandy beach under the shade of blue colored umbrellas, where the atmosphere is sunny, warm, a bit wild and wonderful. Portions are large enough to split between two people. For drinks, most patrons consume The Office margaritas and/or buckets of beer.
