Los Cabos recorded the highest hotel occupancy in the country: Sectur

This represented the occupation of more than 11 thousand rooms in the destination.
San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur. The Federal Tourism Secretariat (Sectur) published the results of hotel monitoring in the nine main tourist destinations in the country, including Los Cabos. The results are from the period that covered week 12, the last of March, in which Los Cabos was the tourist destination in the entire country that registered the highest hotel occupancy with 58.1 percent, this is four additional percentage points with respect to the previous week, reported the owner of the Sectur, Miguel Torruco Márquez through his Twitter account.
Puerto Vallarta registered 50.5 percent and Cancun 49.8 percent of hotel occupancy. However, Cancun is the one that received the most tourists during the last week of March, since 49.8 percent of occupancy represents more than 19,222 rooms occupied, being the destination of the country with the largest hotel offer, while Los Cabos and its 58.1 percent occupancy represented 11,620 rooms.
